We are now “hooked up” to two major social networks, Twitter and Facebook.  Our goal is to use these, and other social sites like MySpace and Google Friends, to drive information and make the Northwest District’s information as available as possible.  Right now there is still much to be done, but over the next couple of weeks, our visitors should be able to log in using Facebook Connect or Google Friend Connect. The home page has finally started to take shape, aside from a few minor cosmetic corrections.

The vision of allowing each unit within the Northwest District access to their own website will also become a reality using the power of Wordpress MU. With our social network template in place, each Pack, Troop or Crew should be capable of developing a well-connected and well-informed community.
