150 Pocketknives are available to Boy Scouts who earn the Recruiter patch.  The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for the knife.

1. Available to Boy Scouts only.

2.  New Scouts as in any youth who was not previously registered.  Webelos crossing over in 2010 do not count.

3. Effective January 1st.  Council has not announced a stop date, but will likely run until June or when the knives run out.  There are currently 150 knives.  If the program takes off, the Council might be convinced to buy more.

4. Unit leaders should have received a letter from the Council office.

5. The bottom part of the letter needs to be mailed in to receive a knife.  (Attachment below)

6. The Council office will NOT accept requests over the phone or by email.

7. Contact the District or Council Commissioner with any questions.
