Geocaching Merit Badge Class

Posted at 3:00 pm under Boy Scouts, Outdoor Activities

This two day class will walk a Boy Scout through the requirements of one of the BSA’s new Merit Badges for 2010, Geocaching! Geocaching (pronounced geo-cash-ing) is a fairly new, high tech, global treasure hunt.
If a Boy Scout shows up and participates in both classes, he will complete all of the requirements for the Merit Badge. If scouts only attend one class, then they can easily finish up on their own. Scouts will be split into groups/patrols and they will work together. If a scout doesn’t have a GPS, they will be put into a group/patrol that does have one.

Who?

Open to all registered Boy Scouts. Leaders and Parents are invited to participate.

Where?
